Natural Parents Network offers giveaways, reviews, and deals on quality products of interest to parents living a natural lifestyle.

Readers and contributors at NPN are primarily women and mothers of babies and young children. They do the shopping for their family needs, and they are looking for products that are relevant to their natural lifestyle, are eco-friendly and of high quality, and are a good value.

We’re especially eager to hear from small companies, parent-run companies, and green companies. We welcome Etsy sellers and other unique business models.

GIVEAWAYS

Sponsoring a review and giveaway is a great way to spread the word about your natural parenting product. Everybody loves a chance to win, and contestants enjoy the opportunity to learn more about your product or company.

No product is too small for us to consider, but we do want to help you make the best bang for your promotional buck. The most popular giveaways have at least one of these attractions in common, if not all three:

1. Well-known product or name brand
2. High dollar value
3. Multiple winners

If you are a relatively unknown company, we would recommend trying for numbers 2 and 3 to increase your exposure. If your product is inexpensive, offering it to several winners heightens the excitement among the contestants. As another strategy, you could combine several products into a cohesive and appealing gift pack. Examples would be a selection of cloth diapers and a few small diapering accessories, or an assortment of parenting books for new parents.

We’d require one representative sample for one of our panel of contributors to use and review, and one matching product sent to the winner after the giveaway ends. To reward our volunteers for their time in producing and promoting the review, we also require either an advertising contract, or alternatively, a third matching product that we can use as a gift for one of our hard-working volunteers. Each product should have a minimum retail value of $25. (Multiple smaller items can be combined into a single prize.)

If we feel we cannot recommend the product to our readers, we’ll contact you privately.

We will promote the giveaway avidly during its run, using a combination of contest listing sites, social media, and blogging. Giveaways might be run or promoted simultaneously on our reviewers’ personal blogs, which will give your company or product even more positive exposure.

Entries will require a visit to your website as well as bonus entries of your choice, such as signing up for a company newsletter, subscribing to a company blog, or following your business on Twitter or Facebook.
