As a homeschooling mom, she and her boys get to spend all day together exploring the world, and she relishes the experience, even when it’s not one she would have sought out on her own. “Some of our most best times are when I am at the park with them, and it is just us, and they ask me to play monster, and I do, and we run around the play structures, trying to get each other, circling and chasing and laughing.” MORE

Once Shae got a comment on a Facebook link from someone saying they wanted to be just like her when she grew up. That was the first time she ever felt grown up herself. She would love to see the world less concerned with money and power, in the hopes that then the government would be willing to take better care of the health and happiness of all people.
