Nothing says Autumn quite like pumpkins and these yummy little morsels of goodness combine that with chocolate. What could be better then smelling them baking on a cool fall afternoon … except eating them!
1/2 C. butter
1 1/2 C. sugar
1 t. real vanilla
1 C. fresh pumpkin puree
2 2/3 C. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1 t. ground cinnamon
1 t. ground nutmeg
1 C. chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream the butter and sugar together, and then add the egg, vanilla, and pumpkin puree.
In a separate bowl mix all the other ingredients, except the chocolate chips, together.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips, and mix until evenly dispersed.
Bake for 11-13 minutes, or until golden brown.
Transfer to wire racks to cool, and store in an airtight container.
