The phrase “it works for us” is one I use a lot when people question things, especially co-sleeping.

  2. Krystal

I would tend to say, “I don’t know. I’ll ponder that.”

  3. Honey

I’m interested in learning more about sharing a one bedroom home.

  4. Natalie Blanch

I get asked the question #4 regularly “Doesn’t that sling bother your back?” when I’m wearing my 12.5kg 16mo in our ergo carrier.. I normally smile and say, ‘I actually find it much easier than pushing a pram’ 🙂

  5. Oksana

I used to practice cosleeping, also known as “sharing sleep” or having a “family bed” 🙂

    Thank you for the chance!

I have been asked “Aren’t you bored at home with your kid?” – and that is the last thing I am!

  7. Kristen Bobbitt

I haven’t had those questions but have had many about cloth diapering, such as “isn’t it gross or a lot more work?”

  8. Jessica Gilbert

people always as me when DD is going to stop breastfeeding

  9. valerie

i love the #1 answer, “its working for us!” what a wonderful response.

i have several pregnant friends at the moment and i am asked #3 a lot. “didn’t having a baby with no epidural hurt?”

kristen, i also get a lot of questions about cloth diapering. i’m still trying to figure out the best answers for those questions because it can be gross and it can be extra work.

I’ve been asked every question on her list, but probably “Doesn’t that sling bother your back?” the most. I reply “it works for us” a lot, but I’m definitely going to have to try some of her responses now too!

  11. Janelle

I use co-sleeping, breastfeeding, babywearing and gentle discipline!

  12. Sarh S

I breastfed all 3 of my children. Baby #1 for 3 months. Baby #2 for roughly 14 months and Baby #3 is only 4 months old and no plans on stopping yet.

  13. Nikole H.

I’ve come to believe and respect the saying: ‘We all do the best we can with the resources, support, and education available to us.’

  14. cyndie

i use “it works for us” all the time about co-sleeping.

  15. Charlotte Robinson

I actually do not have any children yet, but am planning to do AP with my young ones. I have actually heard many of these things before.

  16. Manager to Mom

Definitely demand (breast)feeding and baby wearing. I’m interested in reading her tips on gentle discipline as well! Our toddler is almost 17 months and starting to test boundaries, so I’m sure this will be valuable!

  17. Stephanie

I get asked about needing you time quite often. I love hanging out with my son! Definitely have used some of those solutions. Thank you for the opportunity

  18. Lisa P

    Breastfeeding and Babywearing!

  19. Nichole

i always say “it’s working for us!”
