Visited artful mama. I can tell you a lot about attachment parenting and working families because in my community I am one of a kind.. I have managed to cloth diaper, cloth wipe, Elimination Communication, Co-sleep, extended breastfeeding, organic eating and so on ALL while juggling my work scheduled and I have never been so glad. Something great about it is that one LEARNs how to make it work if its important enough. I run to the daycare on my breaks and breastfeed my daughter and spend a few mins with her. I have pumped from work or used donor milk from friends if I couldn’t pump. To make up for all the missed time during the day we co-sleep. I have also trained the daycare about EC and how to do it among other things. We have for sure had our challenges.. One dayhome lady said I had to wean Zuri… we were gone in a heartbeat.. We have found a great daycare now :) Things are going great. Just pulling through the hard days makes it all worth it… Things eventually work out. Best piece of is to always!! and I do means ALWAYS trust YOURS instincts to do what is best for YOUR child and never let anyone tell you otherwise :) ……. I could have went on forever sorry the long post. I have much experience in this area ;)

I can tell there has to be a balance between working and attachment. To much work can be neglectful to the baby but at the same time work helps pay the bills. There is certainly an art to finding ways to utilize resources so you don’t have to work as much to make up for the materials for the baby.
