On The Hunt . . . at the Farmers’ Market

Welcome to the August 2012 Carnival of Natural Parenting: Farmer’s Markets

This post was written for inclusion in the monthly Carnival of Natural Parenting hosted by Code Name: Mama and Hobo Mama. This month our participants have written about something new they’ve learned about their local farmers.

I have written before about how much we love farmer’s markets. And how we include our children. So this time, I thought I would keep it simple. I am sending you on a hunt. A scavenger hunt!

I tried to put together a somewhat generic scavenger hunt for you to try with your family! You can use mine, or adapt it for your own market.

I created mine with pictures and questions. Smaller children can match the pictures, older children or even YOU can ask the vendors the questions! Get in there, ask, learn, make connections, and be a part of your food chain in a whole new way.
