Sylvi has been going regularly for the last 5 or so months. I tried it out of desperation and every time we leave the office, she coos and chatters the whole drive home. Our chiropractor is really sweet with her and gentle as can be. She’s on to him now and gets annoyed that he works behind her back, but she just wants to see everything. 🙂 Gretchen ThatMamaG January 31, 2012 at 12:40 pm After our appointments Jemma sleeps so well! I can tell she is extra comfortable 🙂 amanda January 31, 2012 at 9:23 am Yes, we have. I have been going for the last 3 years, since I was 7mo pregnant with my son. my son goes whenever we suspect he is congested and not draining properly to prevent ear infections. i went weekly while pregnant with my daughter and had her checked at 4 days old to check that everything was in alignment. Gretchen ThatMamaG January 31, 2012 at 12:41 pm Between cat/cow exercises and chiropractic I was blessed to not experience much pregnancy discomfort at all. Love it for pregnant mamas! Joella fineandfair January 31, 2012 at 9:41 am I went through a very similar journey with chiropractic care! My daughter and I both get adjusted regularly. 🙂 Michigan Chiropractor January 31, 2012 at 4:57 pm I have been a chiropractor for 32 years and overcome many health challenges by being open to chiropractic care. The biggest challenge was grand mal seizures which I suffered with for 12 years of my life. I have raised six children-all under regular care. All I can say is chiropractic still amazes me, even after a few decades. Great post! Dr. Sam Tocco, Michigan Chiropractor http://www.drsamtocco.com Mama and Baby Love mamaandbabylove February 1, 2012 at 1:34 pm I am a huge fan of chiropractic care for the whole family! My daughter was born with a cervical subluxation that gave her TMJ and made breastfeeding nearly impossible (we were also dealing with tongue tie and inverted nipples, fun times). I wrote a post about it here: http://mamaandbabylove.com/2011/08/26/chiropratic-care-for-babies-toddlers-and-kids/ Gretchen ThatMamaG February 1, 2012 at 6:47 pm Love reading about another mama’s experience! Thanks for the link 🙂 Lisa Cash Hanson mompreneurmogul February 11, 2012 at 3:00 am I’ve had chiropractic treatments…not sure that they helped the problem always returns so to me it was just a temporary fix. My daughter had terrible colic. Not sure if an adjustment would have helped I had heard about it after her bout. I’m still not that comfortable seeing a doctor adjust a tiny baby. I feel pretty confident God equipped babies to handle the journey 🙂 Faith April 1, 2013 at 4:11 pm Hi. We are considering Chiro care for our 13 month old son due to ear infections. Can you give an update? I went while I was pregnant and recently started going again due to migraines. It’s great for me just wondering about baby. Gretchen ThatMamaG April 2, 2013 at 12:51 am My daughter has continued seeing the chiropractor on a regular basis and we’ve had nothing but good results! We have battled off two ear infections with chiropractic and my niece has also had great success with reducing/eliminating ear infections thanks to chiropractic. I’d definitely get your little one in there 🙂 Best wishes! Tara October 4, 2013 at 9:30 am Thank you so much for writing about this! When my son was an infant he was really colic-y and so I took him to a chiropractor on a friend’s advice and it really helped ease his pain. That felt like a miracle after the doctor had told me there was nothing he could do.
