Peaceful Home

I hear the words stewardship, sustainability, and a whole new earth. What does it mean to offer stewardship, have sustainability, and create a whole new earth? How can I be the change?

Stewardship means duty, service and responsibility; household management; the use of one’s time, talent, and money; to be placed in one’s care. We are stewards of the earth. Gardeners are stewards of their garden. Conscious parents are stewards of their children.

Sustainability is the capacity to endure; the long-term maintenance of holistic well-being. The habits we need to create sustainability for our earth are the same habits we need to create sustainability of our family – respect, conservation, maintenance, and peace.

The stewardship and sustainability of our earth is dependent upon the stewardship and sustainability of our family. Our home is our ecosystem, founded on respect for one another, conserving our resources, maintaining our blessings, and fostering a culture of love and peace.

Be the change you want in your children. If you want to teach your children to mind, then act more mindful.

Don’t fight fear with fear. Be love and love you shall receive.

Be the change you want in your spouse. If you want your spouse to be more trusting, then increase your trust account with your spouse. Don’t focus on what you don’t want. Don’t keep a scoreboard of the non-loving times.

You must be the change you want to see in the world. ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Be the change you want on earth. If you want the world to make conscious choices for the sustainability of our earth, then make conscious choices for the sustainability of your home and family. Create a haven of love and peace in your home.

Fill your home with peace and create a whole new earth.

  1. A place where everyone serves a purpose.
  2. A place where everyone is allowed to create a meaningful contribution.
  3. A place where everyone has influence in decision making.
  4. A place where everyone is loved without conditions.
  5. A place where everyone is free to find her own voice.
  6. A place where trust is known.
  7. A place where everyone feels connected with something greater than oneself.

My prayer for you: May the love within you, radiate through you, and manifest the change you want to be. May you create peace in your home and bring peace to the world. Namaste.

Celebrate Earth Day all year long in your home. Plant seeds of love and peace, and watch them grow.
