Send Photos for the NPN Cloth Diapering Book!

2009-07-24 06We need your adorable and informative photographs for the upcoming Natural Parents Network book, The Natural Parent’s Guide to Cloth Diapering!

We hope this book will be like a Cloth Diapers 101 class for anyone interested in finding out more about the subject — as well as an advanced course for those with particular questions and troubleshooting needs.

We can use pictures of everything cloth diaper-related!

Here are some ideas for photos:

  • Your babies and toddlers in cloth, aka fluff bums
  • Particular cloth diapers that you own or have tested, from big manufacturers or small sellers alike
  • Diapers you’ve made and the process to make them
  • Cloth diapering accessories, like diaper sprayers, wipes, and wet bags
  • The laundering process
  • Folding techniques
  • Unusual situations, like diaper services or using a coin-op laundromat
  • Elimination communication (EC) in action
  • Your diapering setup — your stash, your changing table, your diaper bag
  • Traveling with cloth
  • Anything else related to cloth!

Send your photos to Books {at} NaturalParentsNetwork {dot} com. You can also email a link to an online photo album, such as at Flickr or Photobucket.

The higher the resolution, the better, since these will be in print. They don’t need to be professional-quality photos, either, although what photos are included will be up to the discretion of the judges, who will need to consider what images are most relevant and helpful.

We’d love a detailed caption for each photo you submit (including names or pseudonyms as you desire and what kind of diapers or accessories are featured), as well as the photographer credit so we know where to give the love. If you took the photo and have a blog, we’d be happy to link back to your blog in the print copy and ebook.

You must have permission to use the photos, and we’ll contact you with a permission release before printing if your photos are chosen.

Please read our call for submissions for further details.

We need all images by April 30.

The reward? You’ll get to see your adorable fluff in print! So send in your photos today.
