I’m totally going to try the Green Monster Smoothie. I’m hoping the fruit flavor convinces Mikko there’s nothing veggie-like inside… He won’t even eat flecks of herbs on rice.

And you’ve reminded me we need to get more hummus!

We have started replacing our post-dinner giant bowl of ice cream with a green monster smoothie. Much healthier, just as tasty and just as filling. We’ve even things like Carnation Instant Breakfast mix to give it a chocolate flavor.

Oooh… Love the idea of the the watermelon soup! Very neat, and fun!

I’m going to have to try out some fun hummus recipes for when my neice is visiting us in a month!!

Yummy new ideas for picky eaters or not. I think these are fun, healthy for older children too!

Lots of nice kid-friendly food ideas here! I might try the watermelon soup myself – like the idea of a bit of mint in with it all. LOVE mint! Now to see if the two little monsters take to any of these foods!….

My daughter absolutely LOVES green smoothies. Even when I try something new and can hardly choke it down myself, she devours the whole thing in about a minute. 😛
