Even though I didn’t do it full time, I know how challenging pumping can be. I can imagine how important to your milk supply and to your relationship that cuddly time to reconnect at night must be! So glad you were able to listen to your daughter’s cues and parent her the way she needed. Beautiful post! Sara @ Halfway Crunchy halfwaycrunchy January 24, 2011 at 3:31 pm Thank you 🙂 Abbie farmdaughter January 21, 2011 at 6:26 pm I could have written this post! My son is 10mos and I know cosleeping is what’s best for our family, too 🙂 Melissa K. VibrantWanderer January 22, 2011 at 7:48 am Ah, I remember our first experience nursing in bed, too. It felt like a giant weight was lifted off my shoulders. I can nurse *and* rest safely!? As a new mom, I have heard all manner of comments meant to let me know that I’m not alone, about how sleep deprived I must be, but I really rarely am! Nighttime parenting flows so naturally in a family bed, and it makes rest easier for all!
