Amy McCarty June 5, 2011 at 11:40 am This article was really dear to me and really hit home. I am a back to work (full-time) AP mommy. I find it extremely hard at times. I don’t get much support in my community for breastfeeding, baby wearing so on… Its more just strange looks or “your still brestfeeding your 18 month old!?” I really make it a point to make sure my whole family is on board with AP. I got a hold of Natural parenting by Jan Hunt on CD and got everyone to listen to it. Was amaing 😀 My mom watches my daughter half time while I am at work and daycare the other. My mom wears my daughter out for walks and so on. I also closely watch what goes on at daycare, plus I go at noon for a nursing session. 🙂 This is our special connection time. 🙂 It IS possible to do this when you are determined and strong in your morals.
