This week we asked: What does fashion sense look like?

(Read more about consensual living on our resource page.)

You can never have enough stripes.

Shannon blogs at Pineapples & Artichokes.

From Lauren: “Mikko saw an infomercial for Pajama Jeans and decided that any suitably chic pair of
jammies qualified as outdoor wear. He tried to convince us to follow his lead, but we opted merely
to enjoy his fashion confidence.”

Lauren blogs at Hobo Mama.

Believe it or not, he dressed himself!

Emily blogs at Embrita.

Andrew in his Christmas pajamas (in May), shoes on inside, sister’s Dora backpack…
the boy can rock an outfit.

Valerie blogs at Momma in Progress.

From Charise: “23 month old Baby loves laundering his clothes and picking out his outfit each day.
I love that he has something different in mind every day!”

Charise blogs at I Thought I Knew Mama.

From Life With Our Blessings: “My daughter Ariah as she shows off how awesome
she looks while making a silly face.”

From Kymberlee: “My husband and son have a lot in common, but unfortunately
one thing they have in common is fashion sense!”

Kymberlee blogs at Our Crazy Corner of the World.

From Rebecca: This is my seven-year-old dressed for school, on a morning she made a rare request for pigtails in her hair. A style she used to wear when she was younger. As she walked to the car I noticed the combination of her striped shirt, polka dot skirt, mismatched socks and her favorite pair of shoes – along with the pigtails I adore. I wanted to document her sense of style at this age. So asked if I could take her picture. She said no, and then compromised as long as I didn’t include her face in the photo. I honored that request. And I thought to myself, “That’s her style.”

Rebecca blogs at Simply Natural Mom.

Tyler has the right idea, dress for fun!

Sasha knows that sometimes an outfit just needs a belt.

Tyler and Sasha’s mommy blogs at Momma Jorje.

From The Other Baby Book: Seeing the spring line through rose colored glasses.

Julia’s ready for an adventure.

Her mom, Sara, blogs at This Mom Loves…

  1. Love it! Oh, the many pictures I could have submitted for this theme!

  2. I love seeing all the photos of the little people in their creative outfits! Shout out for all the parents letting their kiddos wear pajamas out of the house and dress in whatever makes them proud. I know I wore some interesting things when I was kid!

  3. I love all the crazy and not-so-crazy fashion ideas!
