Fiona April 25, 2012 at 11:07 am Love all of these great ideas for frugal living. I think I will have to try making my own cloth pads! Charise, the rice pudding is definitely worth a try! 🙂 Amy @ Anktangle anktangle April 25, 2012 at 5:12 pm Mmmmm…green tomato ketchup! I love the variety this week: everyone’s so clever. =) Andrea talesofgoodness April 25, 2012 at 8:00 pm These are all really good ideas. I’ve been thinking about the cloth pads thing for a while. Rebekah, do they really work? It’s also nice to see that green and frugal can go together – like how Fiona and Shannon grow their own fruit and veggies. I bet this makes up for the few things you need to buy organic. Lovely posts all. Rebekah liberatedfamily April 26, 2012 at 1:03 pm Andrea: Yes, they work very well. I made mine with several layers of absorbing material (old rags, bamboo/cotton batting, etc), so that probably has something to do with how well they work.
