I’m 1/8 French, 3/8 German and 1/2 UK (Scottish, English and Irish (Northern)). I relate most with my UK heritage – feel most drawn to the traditions, music and culture.

My father has always said that we’re “Heinz 57,” but I have 1/16th Choctaw blood and I’m drawn to those traditions, but do not participate in any tribal activities. Most Choctaw events are a held a couple of hours away and… honestly, I feel a little out of place because I’m very white. I really want to learn to speak Choctaw, though!
