Ecological Responsibility, Wordless Wednesday

This week we asked: What does homemade look like?

(Read more about Ecological Responsibility on our resource page.)

From Shannon: “In 2000, I went on a road trip across the United States and part of Canada, where I picked up
a little fabric in each state/province. I’ve been slowly making little houses for a quilt ever since.”

Moira was inspired by the movie Frozen to learn how to sew so she could make her own “Elsa” dress.

Shannon blogs at Pineapples & Artichokes.

Homegrown for some delicious homemade food!

Family that cans together eats handmade vanilla’d peaches all winter long together.

Jennifer blogs at True Confessions of a Real Mommy.

Jorje threw a ring sling together with a piece of fabric and some sling rings. Didn’t even bother hemming!

Once Jorje tried Family Cloth, there was no going back! She loved the ease and sense of
accomplishment after making her own out of old receiving blankets.

Jorje blogs at Momma Jorje.
