Nurturing Touch, Wordless Wednesday

This week we asked: What do lovies look like?

(Read more about Nurturing Touch on our resource page.)

From Kymberlee: “Andrew is almost five and has used my hair as his lovie since he was a tiny baby.”

Kymberlee blogs at Our Crazy Corner of the World.

Moira was never really interested in having a lovie until her baby brother stole one of her stuffed animals
(barely visible here) to sleep with. Now both their beds are full of cuddle buddies every night.

Shannon blogs at Pineapples and Artichokes.

From Laura: “Lovies are a big deal in our house. Two-year-old Princess diapers her baby, Josie.”

BigBrother snuggling with one of his lovies, Blankie.

Laura blogs at WaldenMommy: Life Behind the Red Front Door.

Harold and the Purple Crayon, Calvin, and Hobbes… all set to go on an adventure.

Emily blogs sporadically at Embrita Blogging.

Spencer has no use for “lovies…” unless, of course, you count Mommy’s hair.

Sasha must have all the lovies! She chooses a different one (or three) to snuggle each night .

Jorje blogs at Momma Jorje.

Tell us: What do lovies look like in your family?

Emily, that shot is amazing!! So many different lovies. Kymberlee – my brother (in his 30s) *still* twirls his mother’s hair, without even realizing it! :)
