(Read more about striving for balance in family life on our resource page.)

Sometimes something as silly as a sparkly pair of shoes can make
Jennifer at True Confessions of a Real Mommy feel just a little bit better about the world.

The ultimate in luxury for a sleep deprived Mom of a recently weaned child, a night in a hotel room all by herself.

Shannon blogs at Pineapples & Artichokes.

Mama and Eva enjoyed hair braiding on holiday in Bali

Eva indulging in some of mama’s lipstick

Joella’s mother pampers her tired feet at her Mama Blessing

Joella blogs at Fine and Fair.

Julia from A Little Bit of All of It felt very pampered at her Mother Blessing before the birth of her son.
Here she is receiving an herbal foot bath.

In this picture, Julia is receiving an arm massage and her hair is being braided.

Abbie of Farmer’s Daughter enjoys a relaxing pedicure for her birthday.

Fresh hair color, freshly maintained dreadlocks (by a professional!), a “new” dress saved from a swap,
a crazy new “do,” and a party all about this birthday girl… pampering and attention for the win!
