This week we asked you to share: Big Kids

(Please enjoy this week’s articles on the theme – Laura has written about extending the natural parenting principles to older children, our mentors shared their wisdom with a parent who is struggling with a child who is wetting the bed, and more.)

From Lea: “My two-year-old son getting the hang of his skateboard!”

Arpita and her husband enjoy playing and being “Big Kids” embracing new and different experiences, like horse back riding in Cuba as they work with their RE to start their family!

Arpita blogs at Up, Down & Natural.

Momma Jorje‘s big kid still enjoys doing little kid things with her baby sister.

Momma Jorje as a big kid herself, graduating with a GED.

From Shannon: “One of the kids whose parents introduced me to Attachment Parenting. Part of staying attached to your teenager means being involved in their interests so their mother now knows everything there is to know about video gaming, Pokeman, Magic the Gathering, and D&D. Jade is organizing her Bally Balls in this picture, an incredibly detailed series of fimo creatures she made that reference all sorts of different worlds, stories, and mythologies.”

Shannon blogs at Pineapples & Artichokes.

Lauren was the first and only guest — but an enthusiastic one! — on her baby brother’s short-lived, home-videotaped talk show. He was about 13 here and loved to exercise his creative side.

Lauren blogs at Hobo Mama.

From Lyndsay: “They told me I wouldn’t be able to ride a motorbike til I was 16yrs, but at 7months, I’m the best rider on the carpet!”

From Jennifer: “Happy 4th birthday, L1! I love you!”

Jennifer blogs at True Confessions of a Real Mommy.

Tell us about your big kids!
