Helping in the kitchen wouldn’t be complete without licking the beater!

Jennifer blogs at True Confessions of a Real Mommy.

From Shannon: “The kids went blueberry picking in the morning and then we made a cobbler in the afternoon. They decided to put a ring of raspberries around the outside and then fill the center with the blueberries.”

Moira wanted to make dinner for the family, and while doing prep work she said,
“You are teaching me to cook in your own kitchen. It’s almost like you are homeschooling me!”

Shannon blogs at Pineapples & Artichokes.

Marybeth writes at Natural Mom Reviews.

One way Jorje’s family has explored food is by using “Monkey Platters” or “Muffin Tin Meals.”

Being comfortable with food messes would be really helpful when letting your kids explore with food.

Jorje has “food mess issues” and blogs at Momma Jorje.
