Balance, Wordless Wednesday

This week we asked: What do play dates look like?

(Read more about striving for balance in personal and family life on our resource page.)

From Shannon of Pineapples & Artichokes: “Mikko is Moira’s favorite friend to have over for a play date, because frequently they get to watch a movie, something that is normally off limits when friends are visiting, but allowed in this case because it helps Mikko let Lauren and Sam go out on dates. And I am really not above bribery. I think they are even eating ice cream in this picture.”

From Kym of Our Crazy Corner of the World: “During a recent play date we did “spy training.” It was a hit!”

From Charise of I Thought I Knew Mama: “Many of our play dates take place at the local library. This recent play date involved dancing and singing with one of the local children’s musicians.”

Eva and her friend Grace sharing at a playdate.

Marnie blogs at Our Fields of Gold.

Sasha looks forward to play dates with her half-sister.

Sasha’s mom, Jorje, blogs at Momma Jorje.
